"The Brass Rail" is in downtown Minneapolis and is probably the
busiest "Gray" bar in the twin cities. The crowd is mainly men from
their 30s to their 50s. It is a "downtown" place and had a few fellows
who looked like they might be hustling. On-street
parking is impossible. There are parking lots nearby.

A gay piano/sports bar! The bewildering combination (piano in the
front, sports in the back) The atmosphere is casual but sophisticated
with a dozen wines by the glass and some high-end scotches. It's
definitely an after-work spot, with a two-for-one happy hour. Piano
players serenade the bar Thursday through Saturday, bringing in
an older crowd than the bustling downtown gay clubs.
