  Naked At 20,000 Feet, Pilots Fired

Two Southwest Airlines pilots have given the term cockpit a whole new meaning. A male flight attendant, summoned to the cockpit by the captain, found both the captain and the first officer buck naked. The plane was on autopilot and there was no danger to the passengers the airline says. But, both pilot and first officer were fired.

"We are failing the family," says England's most senior family court judge. In a lecture at King's College London, Dame Elizabeth Butler-Sloss said gay and lesbian relationships need to be recognized by law and that the transgendered should have the right to marry in their corrected gender.

Gay and lesbian seniors are facing a serious health threat from discrimination by health care workers and institutions a new study shows. Despite greater acceptance of gays and lesbians older gays who have felt discrimination over a lifetime are mistrustful of health and social services, the study by Shari Brotman, Bill Ryan and Robert Cormier of the McGill School of Social Work shows.
