The Chute Complex
2535 Franklin Road
Tel: 615 297 4571
Crowd: totally diverse - all ages, looks and styles
Located in a dumpy old multipurpose office building in an uninspiring
neighborhood a 10-minute drive south of downtown.
This a quadruple bar, with a bar for leather cruising, one for the
western man with line dancing. Another bar is for the Disco crowd,
and it is loud. A restaurant is also part of the complex but serves
food in the early evening only. The restaurant is open to the disco
bar area, which is quiet during the serving period. Parking can
be a problem, but there is a two-level free parking lot just south
of the complex. There is a bank immediately to the north, and there
parking is also allowed. There is a beautiful piano bar as part of
the complex, which is VERY popular with the intergenerational couples.
Good drinks, good music, great looking men! Nice Patio. Mixed
drinks, Coolers/Beer served.

Provides budget accomodation above the Gaslight and the Towne House
Restaurant - a small southern-style luncheonette. This is a perfectly
suitable budget choice but rooms and baths are sligtly threadbare.
