live music every night of the week.
DIK bar (formerly Windows)
1635 17th Street, NW (Dupont Circle , DC )
Tel: (202) 328-0100
17th Street, above the Italian Kitchen restaurant in the DuPont
area of D.C.'s NW quadrant (Entrance is either through restaurant
and up the stairs or via the stairway at the back of the restaurant).
DIKs is not cruisy, not overly-elegant (clean casual) though quite
a few fruits in suits in the early evening, and the clientele seems
to be between 35 and 50, with younger admirers and friends.
This is not the type of bar where hustlers would blend easily. Over
all, a very nice place to spend an evening.
Cabaret has now moved to Thursday nights! 8 & 9:30pm, no cover.
First Monday of every month is a singers' showcase, other Monday
nights feature Cherri Tarte.

Omega DC
2122 P Street, NW (Dupont Circle , DC
Tel: (202) 223-4917
From the outside, it looks like a small, abandoned, back-alley warehouse.
But inside, its like being in the middle of a shiny bauble. Downstairs
is the location of 2 bars and a pool table. Sometimes lame drag performers
do shows there. Upstairs at Omega DC is a bar where older guys can
fit in. There's more music videos and a back room for games like billiards,
darts and video games. And there's a side cubby hole that features
one small screen of XXX gay porn.
Restaurants
"Italain Kitchen"
17th Street (below Windows bar).
Resonably priced average Italian diner (under $20 for most meals).
The "Kitchen" has outside dining available when weather permits and
is of course, very gay friendly. The Kitchen is owned by the same
people who own the bar upstairs. The small upstairs room of the "Kitchen"
(next to the bar) is gayer than downstairs.
Annie'sParamount Steak House
17th street NW (One block South of "Windows")
The place to be on Fridays.
Clientele is about 70% Gray 20% admirers 10% other rent 0% music 1,

Crew Club
1321 14th St NW
Tel: (202) 319-1333
Opening Times: 24hr?
Percentages: I have only been there during the day and early evening.
However, when I arrive in the morning, I see the night crowd leaving.
I have noticed about 20-50% Gray. Of course, that is what I am noticing
more, but there has always been a number of older gents to keep me
interested.
Rent: 0% ,Music: (There is a basement room with piped in music. The
music is not my taste), but it isn't too loud., Cruise 7, Elegance

The Crew Club is basically a high end bath house without the steam
room.
However, the CC is marketed as a clothing optional gym. To this end,
there is plenty of workout equipment and space. In addition, there
is a common TV room with smaller rooms off of the TV room where there
is a masseur. In the back there are rooms to rent. Next to the rooms
are lockers and common showers. The best parking is around the back
in the neighborhood. 14th street is rather busy and dirty.
What differentiates the CC from just a bath house is that the cruise
factor is not so overwhelming. I have met people that are members
of the CC just because it is more economical than joining the downtown
Y or other gyms.
In addition, you get to workout in the nude.
